AirBnB Home Upgrade Financing

How has something so basic eluded these "geniuses"?

In the early days, before "data science" was a byword, they figured out that what really mattered was the quality of the photographs on the listing. Good. They sent out pro photographers to the homes free of charge.

Now, today, with the benefit of DS, can't they *easily* figure out, based on what actual guests write and what correlated guests have written about correlated homes that maybe such and such listing would benefit from an upgraded toilet, room-darkening blinds, kitchen upgrades, drinking water supply, etc? Can't they then reach out to hosts and make it happen with financing?

I know..

Uber, VanMile, ... it's Here, the Next Big Thing. Now, Go Build It

What?

A platform - for experts on call.

You're a handyman. You're not always occupied. So you offer your services remotely. When you're free, you sign into the app - that's right, just like Uber. You see a call - someone wants help unclogging their toilet - they'll pay you $5 for five minutes of help.

You see a call - someone's at Home Depot and isn't sure what they should buy to solve their home improvement problem. They'll offer $2 for two minutes of help.

You're a homeowner who doesn't want to pay the plumber's trip charge. You're sure you can solve this nuisance yourself for 20 bucks. So you put out a call on the app.

What do you need?

I recommend both sides have a VR headset that also has a camera - that way, you can easily see and show.

I think this is worth doing.

Hmmm... considering 6ya already exists, looks like this needs to be Facebooked - considering how Myspace already existed... what did Facebook do differently?

iReminders - Come on AAPL - Before Android Does It

You want to set smart alerts - especially in lousy places like India where carriers are going to nickel and dime you every chance they get.

So, I want to be warned if I have left my data ON more than 5 minutes.

But, be smart. If I turned data ON and then called an Uber, then I want to be warned about data being ON only AFTER I start my Uber ride..

Get it?
